The basics

What are software maintenance and support services?

Software maintenance and support services keep websites and applications working after launch: fixing bugs, applying security and platform updates, monitoring uptime and performance, taking backups and making small improvements. They are usually provided on a monthly plan or an annual maintenance contract (AMC).

Without maintenance, software slowly breaks: plugins and libraries go out of date, security holes appear and speed drops. A plan with agreed response times costs far less than emergency fixes.

What is an AMC for software?

An annual maintenance contract: a yearly plan covering updates, fixes, backups, monitoring and a set amount of changes, usually cheaper than paying monthly.

Can you support software another company built?

Yes. We start with a code and health review, fix urgent issues and then take over support.
