Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

We are the data fiduciary (under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and the data controller (under the EU/UK GDPR) for the personal data described here.

This policy covers overandalltech.com. Our SMRT software products and client projects are covered by separate agreements.

2. What we collect

When	What
You send a message or ask for a quote	Name, email, phone, company, the service you're interested in, your message, and optional budget, timeline and country.
You chat, call or WhatsApp us	Your phone number or chat details and what you tell us. Live chat is provided by Tawk.to.
You apply for a job	Your CV and the details you send by email.
You browse the site	Pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location (city level), how you arrived (for example the ad or search you clicked, UTM tags and the Google click ID "GCLID"), and IP address as processed by our analytics and hosting providers.

We don't ask for sensitive data such as health, financial account or government ID numbers through this website. Please don't send them.

3. How we use it

• To reply to you and prepare quotes, proposals and calls you ask for (to take steps at your request before a contract; your consent under the DPDP Act).
• To run and improve the website, find broken pages and fix errors (our legitimate interest).
• To measure our marketing, such as which ads and searches lead to enquiries, so we spend our budget well (your consent where the law requires it).
• To meet legal duties, such as tax and accounting records.

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

4. Cookies & tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

Click ID storage	Over & All Tech	When you arrive from a Google ad, we save the Google click ID (GCLID) in your browser's local storage for up to 90 days and include it with any enquiry you send, so we can connect the enquiry to the ad.
Tawk.to live chat	Tawk.to	Runs the chat window and remembers your chat session.
WhatsApp button	Meta	Opens WhatsApp. What you send is handled under WhatsApp's own privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings, and opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as far as they need it:

• Website hosting: Hostinger
• Analytics and advertising: Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Ads)
• Live chat: Tawk.to
• Messaging: WhatsApp (Meta)
• Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, and authorities when the law requires it

6. International transfers

We are based in India, and some of our providers store data in other countries, including the United States. When we transfer personal data of people in the EU or UK, we rely on the providers' Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful safeguard.

7. How long we keep it

• Client records: as long as the contract lasts, plus the period Indian tax and company law requires.
• The stored click ID: up to 90 days in your browser.

8. Your rights

If you are in India (DPDP Act, 2023)

You can ask to see a summary of the personal data we hold about you, correct or complete it, or have it erased. You can withdraw consent at any time (this doesn't affect what we did before you withdrew). You can nominate someone to exercise your rights if you die or become unable to. If you're not satisfied with our reply, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

If you are in the EU or UK (GDPR)

You can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, a copy of your data in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests or to direct marketing. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

9. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, restrict access to enquiries to the staff who need them, and keep software up to date. No system is perfectly secure, so if we become aware of a breach affecting your data we'll notify you and the authorities as the law requires.

10. Children

This website is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change and change the "Last updated" date above. If a change is significant, we'll show a notice on the site.
